With over 33 years of service in the United States military and currently serving as Chairman of America’s Future, General Michael Flynn’s military career culminated as the Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), the nation’s highest-ranking military intelligence officer.

After retiring from the Army in 2014 and becoming a private citizen, General Flynn served in a variety of business, educational, and non-profit roles, including supporting veteran organizations across the country, which he continues to do today.

Additionally, he served as a foreign policy advisor to several Republican presidential candidates in 2016, including Trump, Cruz, and Carson, before being appointed and serving as the National Security Advisor to Donald Trump, the 45th President of the United States of America.

General Flynn has authored national best-selling books, holds three master’s degrees, and has received numerous military, intelligence, and law enforcement awards.

He is married with two sons and several grandchildren.
After his tenure as National Security Advisor ended in controversy, General Flynn faced legal troubles related to his communications with Russian officials during the transition period. However, he was later pardoned by President Trump on November 25, 2020.

General Flynn remains an active voice in politics and national security issues, frequently appearing as a commentator on various news outlets.
